Helm Library Core tech?
I know that there will not be any Clan tech, but what about the advanced tech that was found on the planet Helm?

The Atlas II was in some of the recent videos w/ MPL's and Gauss . It was also said by someone you cannot BUY Lostech . Also I think though am unsure lostech will be single player only . :spg2anarchy:

The devs hinted at some lostech stuff to be found in a/some story missions.

There were also a entries in the backer beta for

-Gauss Rifle
-ER PPC
-ER Small, Medium and Large Laser
-Small, Medium and Large Pulse Laser
-AMS
-Double Heat Sinks

Now, we don't know how much (if any) of that stuff will turn up, but I'd bet good money that at least some of it will.

The Helm core was found in 3028. This is 3025. No Lostech.

To be fair, that just meens no manufactured star league tech. You could still find it in a SL cashe.

There will be "some" Lostech, but as posted above, Helm hasn't happened yet.

Ok, as you eventually know, the Helm Core was discovered in 3028 and it took a long time before each Successor State got a copy and even longer before the rediscovered tech had an impact on the battlefield.
The campaign gameplay either starts 3025 or 3028 so chances to get some Star League Tech are very slim to non existent. Unless you stumble by accident over some hidden SL cache yourself ;)

And it took 5-10 years after that before some of that stuff was beginning to be mass produced. Even then, it was hard to aquire and not yet standard equipment on anything.

You’re right, I should’ve done my homework before asking that question.
But maybe the campaign will last years, or maybe we’ll find our own lostech? :steamhappy:

*SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS*

I watched Sidestrafe's stream a few days ago and he completed the next mission that was barred. After that mission data was found and someone, in game, mentions lostech.

The next mission is to try and resuce a guy who can decode the information so you can work out where the "lostech" cache is.

No doubt there is lostech in the single player game but what items are yet to be seen...

p.s pre load done :-):steammocking:

The latter is guaranteed to happen, actually.
**Spoiler**

The Lostech is 4 ER Small Lasers, Narc Beacon and an ECM Suite. If you complete the bonus mission you get the Collant Vest.

You can sometimes find random pieces of Lostech equipment as salvage in random missions or on planets with a black market.

In late 3012, Prince Ian Davion received word of that Draconis Combine forces on Halstead Station were constructing a huge series of storage depots on the planet. After his death, Hanse Davion continued to plan to prevent the construction of the depots, when MIIO reported that the Combine construction crews had discovered the ruins of a Star League-era university with an apparently untouched and sealed storage vault. In an era of increasing LosTech, Hanse realized how important such a find would be, accelerating preparation for the raid and choosing to lead it personally. What Davion had assumed would be a quick raid turned into a month long conflict, but he was ultimately successful in destroying the Kurita depots and in securing the so-called Halstead Collection, the largest and most important treasure trove of Star League era information until the discovery of the Helm Memory Core. Upwards of three thousand books and other materials were captured by the Davion forces, which prompted the Prince in 3015 to devote considerable funds and scarce scientists to creating a new university to house and research the reclaimed data, the facility being completed in late 3016
