How are Beagle Active Probes handled?

Title. I haven't seen them mentioned in any FAQs and forums nor have I seen them in any gameplay I've watched. I know the Black Knight BL-6-KNT comes stock with one, for example.

Pretty sure there is no Beagle Active Probe in the game. It's also very unlikely we will be running into the BL-6-KNT, that variant was the original production run with endo steel internals and all the shiny bits and bobs.

What we're likely to see is the BL-7-KNT which was the downgraded succession wars version (which has no BAP).

I suspect he wrote the blk 6 since it was the default model. The 7 is what was common in the IS in 3025, and what I have seen as confirmed.

For what little it's worth, I modded this during the backer beta. There were equipent files for the BAP, but they were not completed. So it might be in the game or it might have been removed. The Black Knight is in the game, but you'll have to spend a lot of time looking for that one. Some mechs, like the Knight, are the kind you can expect to find in Star League caches. Along some other bits of advanced tech that you can expect everyone on the peryphery and half the inner sphere to want to kill you for.

Can confirm that right now, electronic warfare such as ECM and BAP is not in the initial release. The studio has limited resources and due to some factors, including the fact that such items were amongst the rarest and least understood lostech, the decision was made to redirect the resources being used on EW back to improving the central aspects of the game.
