in that case chemicals will have missiles, flamers and inferno racks in the shop.
agriculture i believe affects the maps generated so theres a higher chance a battle takes place in more farms-cape.
medium gravity is average no particular note, low/high gravity might affect movement but not too sure.
rich means higher chances of rare components because the local economy can support such trans actions. things like manufacturing for example means more components available to buy.
chemicals i think is more a map modifier than store, i believe maps with more radioactive and chemical wastelands are more common there.
all in all, the modifiers should either affect battlefields or stores or both in some way.
On the far right next to the Store Filter is and "i" in a circle. If you select a filter and hover over that "i" it will tell you what it gives you. In short it says this;
Battlefield - Gyros and Arm/Leg Actuators
Chemicals - Missiles and Flamers
Electronics - Lasers and Targeting Systems
Industrial - Cockpit Mods, Heat Banks, Thermal Exchangers and MGs
Mining - Autocannons
Research - PPCs, ECM, COIL, Narc and TAG
Star League - LosTech
