This achieve was added in a later patch in reference to that.
Decker always was my pack leader for the late game. He already has sensor lock so I end up training him fully in that tree and assign him the first heavy and assault I get simply because it end up the only way to have such slow mechs act in a timely manner in the initiative.
Its a good mech to reduce monthly salary costs
I didn´t play since 2 years due savegame corruption after an update with >200h gameplay.
So, in my new gameplay, I sell the spider and guess this archivement is gone for me, hehe.
Actual hes in my crab
None of my later Dekkers died, because I fire him & the other guy immediately. (yes, I run all-female crews. Because I feel like it. /shrug)
re: the Spider. I remove it's jump jets, max out it's armor as much as possible, and only run it until I can get a Jenner or Firestarter. Which might be awhile.
Also, remember, many of the "omg, Dekker died!" stories came from 1) early in the campaign, when there hasn't been a chance to replace the Spider yet; and 2) early in the campaign of brand new players who didn't know the game inside & out. And also in the early months, when the chance of headshot was bugged higher & all the other patches you have now didn't exist yet. ;)
Yes
I'm a fan of this idea. I want to eventually do a BEX career run with an all female all Canopian crew.
