Hello there, BEST Mech Game ?

i want to buy a good mech game but i cant decide. Can i get some tips? Thought about Battle Tech or Mechwarrior 5 Mercenaries or is there any better? And i i dont like Multiplayer only aswell.. thanks

I don't think they're comparable. Battletech is a turn-based tactical game. MW5 is a real-time piloting game. They're both in the Battletech setting (which greatly predates either game) but in completely different gameplay genres.

There's only three mech games on STEAM: BΛTTLETECH, Mechwarrior 5 and Mechwarrior Online.

My opinion is that Mechwarrior 3 is the best mech game there is, but it's from 1999 and you need to do a lot of work to get it to run in Win10.

The other games have their strengths and weaknesses. A lot depends if you want a mouse click game or an action game. BΛTTLETECH has been around longer and has been patched and has mods and DLC available. Does that make it the best? I wish it was a better game than it is, but it's not the worst either.

The best Mech game on Steam? Yeah, it's probably BattleTech.

Those are *wildly* different, being heavily mobility-focused (i.e. wallrunning and platforming games).

Then BT is your choice. Vanilla has some options and mods (BEX/RT/BTA) extend it even more, in some cases to absurd boundaries (RT).

There are a couple on steam, do a look on the mech or robot keyword. Some look interesting, but haven't really played many of them even in demos or seen much footage

Hey it's an old childhood classic.

I'd get Battletech. It's good if you like turn based.

Titanfall 2 is pretty fun. I only played it for the Frontier Defense PVE mode, but it was fun enough. THe different titans and thier abilities, each play quite different. I just wish the maps were bigger.

Thanks for all the tips, i might get the Battletech - Mercenary Collection for 12€ only thing is i prefer non-turnbased but maybe its better in a game like this. When i see Mechwarrior for cheap i might get it too. Thanks ppl
