Well, that was silly.
Flashpoint: Unwelcome Guests II, beat up a Steiner kill team to save allies
4 skull Battle, Jungle.

I brought a King Crab (assorted violence) (Master Tac)
Archer (LRM20+2dmg, LRM15+2dmg, LLas+5) (Breaching)
Rifleman (UAC2+10dmg x2, LLas+5, 2xMLas) (Breaching)
Marauder (UAC5 -wt/-recoil x2, LLas+10) (Master Tac)


Turn 1: Sprinted forward. Enemy shows up on sensors, can directly see a King Crab.

Turn 2: Marauder blows the KC's head off. Rifleman goes to top of hill, can see everyone else with it's extra vision range - Hatchetman, Awesome, Banshee. My other three mechs toss some damage at the Hatchetman & Awesome

Turn 3: Marauder blows the Hatchetmans' head off. Rifleman & Archer blow the RA/RT/CT off the Awesome. Crab shoots the Banshee

Turn 4: Marauder blows the Banshee's head off. Mission over.

The Awesome and Hatchetman each got one shot off. (Yang complains about all the repairs, because those Steiner kill teams are no joke ._. )


The new mechs and gear feel perhaps a tad unbalanced.

The called headshots % imo are OP now

Annihilator with +20% ballistic damage and +40% stability is no joke either.

If you hate the Marauder don´t use it. Even 18% hit chance from CS mastery is quite good. So...

Yes it does make the game a bit easier.

Nature of power creep.

Recommend BT Extended, helps balance some of this stuff so it isn't such an "I win" button.

A medium mech, and three mediocre assault mechs. The game is just poorly balanced. Especially with headshots.
