Is there a tutorial?

Is there a tutorial in the game which explains what all those bars on my robot mean? And different types of mechs? Huh?

Why the heck does it tell you the basic movement stuff, and not, say, where are your actions points on the screen.

The beginning mission in the campaign is the only tutorial. Once you get to your ship, talk to all your NPCs, they have some instructions for certain subject.

Thanks, I'm glad there aren't external tutorials required in games like xcom, but this one has.
