But.. you CAN upgrade the Leopard by adding additional mech bays. I see the slots, just not how to upgrade them. Someone else mentions the first upgrade is $900,000 C-Bills?
Also, for instance, in the story arc after the Argos' initial capture, I selected to temporarily stuff mech bay supplies everywhere. It cost one morale in annoyance (space was at a premium for a bit) but got me +3 tech points for 30 days. So that is an upgrade (to the repair rate on the leopard). I was also able to get +3 medical points for 30 days by granting permission to buy an extra $25,000 C_Bills worth of medical supplies (seems completely worth it).
Anyhow: is it that the JUMPSHIP Argo can be upgraded after completing story arc missions? Is it the same with the dropship or can you only upgrade the mech bay and get story incident dependent boosts ? The option to upgrade the Leopard with an additional mech bay is not there right away on securing the Argo, so must be unloced in a second or subsequent story line mission, if that is the key.
Med bays , repair bays , engineering , mech bays , personell pods? (not sure of name) plus ways to imporove moral (zero g swimming pool anyone) but at inreasing cost for each upgrade. Not dependant on story arc just funds available - you can bankrupt yourself upgrading to fast each increases your monthly maintenance cost as well as the upfront cost
Argo is still technically a dropship... sort of. It's certainly not a Jumpship since it doesn't have a KF drive. /pedantry
Eh, that's a temporary effect from an event, not an "upgrade".
The Argo is a big fancy Dropship. It still has to hitch a ride on Jumpships to get around. And all the permanent upgrades (more mech bays, medbays, etc) are on the Argo, not the Leopard.
