BL-6b-KNT
Used by the SLDF Royal BattleMech regiments, the 6b was introduced in 2751 and upgraded the heat dissipation system with double heat sinks. The tonnage saved was used to upgrade the large lasers to Raker-X Large Pulse Lasers and the PPC to an Kinslaughter ER PPC
The description alone pretty much rules it out as pure lostech.
Anyway the reason I thought it was in the game is that I've been going off a spreadsheet that lists all the mechs. Seems I've seen pretty much all of them in game except for the bl-6b.
-You receive the 6B during the Raising the Dead storyline mission.

I've been through the story twice now and never got that as a reward. I'm thinking it might not be implemented in game yet.
edit:
I just opened the 6b json file and noticed on the 9th line it says "BLACKLISTED". Opened a few other mech jsons and don't see that entry on those.
I believe all "BLACKLISTED" means is that it can't be in AI unit tables. Target dummies and the other Lostech mechs are also blacklisted.
Funny you say that as I remember a variant that had a sword and shield.
I'm gonna replace "Blacklisted" to "unit_release" and will report back my findings.
