Gamestorm BattleTech Solaris

How does this game compare to the old Gamestorm Kesmai BattleTech Solaris version? I am trying to find a similar version to try.

They don't really compare; that game was a mech sim type game, while this is a tactical overhead game controlling a lance of mechs, and turn-based.

How do they compare? About as well as comparing a cow to a chicken.

Battletech, Aliens Online, Air Warriors, Magestorm and Legends of Kesmai. I still play Legends of Kesmai

I played a little of the first 2. ..Actually Kesmai sounds sort of familiar too.
