Enemy accuracy off the scale!! (Roguetech Mod)
Making my way to the clan systems, not rushing at all...taking missions, getting enough c-bills to make a good sized jump and then rinse and repeat.
The problem I have is this......the enemt accuracy is far too good. Max range hits on a mech that is guarded and entrenched with three evasion. The enemy hits far too often, I have had up to three mechs destroyed in one mission, I`m taking one or one and a half skull missions and meeting mainly light or medium mechs and I`m getting my wooped almost every mission.
It`s getting to the point that I am loosing the will to live, having no choice but to reload the game again and again.
Is it just me? or are others seeing the same ♥♥♥♥?

The AI simply considers any shot above 25-30% good enough to alpha your sorry ass (heat permitting)

As a player, you should learn that too

I've seen plenty of random 70-90% shots I take miss. While 3-5 evasive mechs getting hit from moderate ranges. As Boltergeist said, if you can handle the heat, take the shot. I've seen a number of low hit chances hit, when I wasn't expecting it, those end up really nice. Where those 70-90 misses are so frustrating lol. Don't worry though, the Goblin's gonna gitchya! (Oh and unless you have ammo out the wazoo, save that on really bad hit chances)

Roguetech mod or not, even in the base game the enemy AI has an unbelievable streak when it comes to landing successive shots on the most well-defended Mech of yours - any weapon, any range versus any defense. This game still suffers from that caveat even after all these months of release - with nowhere in the json fiels to reduce the AI's accuracy.

3 evasion is not enough in RT, you'd need at least 5, so you have to sprint a lot, sprint and shoot, use pulses and streaks to get acceptable accuracy, and get targeting systems (both from cockpit mod and from certain ecm systems, also TTSes) and don't forget arm gears too.

Which version of RT are you playing???

You should try to fit defense gyros and ECM asap. Also if at all possible, keep your evasion at 4 by full sprinting at all times.

Note the campaign starts on Episode 2, as Episode 1 was a pilot episode and this start will be restarted with Episode 2.

Its not quite so bad now, through copious amounts of save scumming(refuse to accept losing 2 mechs in a single mission) I have managed to salvage 2 heavy mechs. Now I have some ok alpha damage and a better survivability. Equipment is still a problem, but I have just arrived at the clan worlds and its time to reap my rewards for a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ journey.
Heres to victory, and a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of salvage!!!

By clan worlds, do you mean real clan worlds on the top north side of the map or just clan controlled territories in the IS?
