Slots not hardpoints.How much can you mod?
So I was playing with slot sizes and universal slots(I hate the hardpoints with every fiber of my being), in theory if you adjust the inventory slot number on stuff you could balance out what goes where, for instance blackjack is 1 head, 4 leg, 10 torso and 8 arm. So let’s triple those numbers then add one extra on the head.

4 head, 12 legs, 30 torso sides, 12 torso, and 24 arms

Small lasers, MG or flamers are 1 slot each
Basic heat sinks, jump jets are 2 slots each
M laser, srm, basic lrm/5 are 4 slots each

L laser and AC/2 are 6 slots each, AC/5 is 8 slots, AC/10 is 10 slots, PPC is 12 slots and so on

Any of the fancy + gear add more required slots. (M laser ++ takes up 5 or 6 slots)

So the legs have 3 jump jets and 1 heatsink that’s 12 slots.

The arm could have up to 4 AC/2’s or 4 M lasers, or one if it can handle the weight, weight limit aside you can only fit so much junk in the trunk as it were which my warped sense insane tweaking of aesthetics loves much more than the dumb hard point system…..

The UI is giving me some trouble anything I make 4+ slots takes up an insane amount of user interface space in the bay, anyway to adjust that or is it hard coded? Also the hard point system has hard point slot numbers like 0/2 or 1/1, anyway to change them to reflect the slot numbers or dose that ignore slot numbers altogether??
