Snub PPC+++ is god mode

I tried a snub PPC for the first time and liked it. 75 damage, sensor interference, short range.

Then I found a Snub PPC+++ (stability) and it was even better.

The real party started when I found an identical Snub PPC with +++ stability damage and put two in a Hunchback 4-G. Wow. 150 damage. Lights just evaporate. Mediums fall right over, even some heavies with a little help from an AC or missiles.

Now I want to find a 3rd and a Marauder to put them in.

hehehe, i put 2 of them on my griffin and their stability damage is wrong xD pew pew pew mech is already unstable, some missiles to finish the job.

Put them in a warhammer the damage bonus to energy weapons is what you want. Paired with a + stability damage SRM6 for extra knock down damage. Can remove the mediums and support weapons for heat sinks

+10 dmg version is better for 25x5.

I like the stability damage bonus to get salvage. Just keep knocking them over. No muss, no fuss.

I like them on my Phoenix Hawk variant, slap an x-1 ECM on there, then load it up with all the Snub +10 dmg, and JJ's you can. JJ behind a mech, and start creating artificial anuses for fun, and science. A called shot to the center, plus the damage boost from the JJ mods will do some scary damage, generally resulting in previously mentioned artificial anuses.

But, why can't we aim at the legs when attacking from the rear? Not being able to kneecap mechs from behind is a bummer, and I do not understand the logic behind it.

I was a battle mech once, but then I took a Snub PPC to the knee.

How much does precision shot help the scatter of snub PPCs (and LBX's)? I remember reading that it now affects the spread of missiles "some" but I've got no clue how much that really is.

UAC/SNPPC/LBX use the same mechanic as SRM/MGs, so the progression is something like 18%, 10.6%, 6%, 3.8%, 2.5%..., with UACs working as kinda uber SRM2 and SNPPCs as SRM5s. The more hits per weapon the worse they perform overall with PS. That's why SRM2s are far better than SRM6s (if you had enough hardpoints to mass them).
