How to get most out of Flashpoints?
Okay, I just finished the Campaign and want to try the Flashpoints for the first time.
Do you suggest I keep playing after the Campaign or do you suggest I start in career mode? Why?
Right now I think I will just keep playing, design one Lance of Lights, one of Mediums, one of Heavies and one of Assaults. The only downsides I can see are that I don`t get any easy missions and the Taurians hate me with a passion so great that there is no way to ever change their minds. Am I overlooking something?

Edit:
I think I would prefer to start a new campaign with flashpoints enabled after getting the Argo if someone would be so kind and describe to me how to do this. I have never edited any game files before so I have no idea how to do this...

Some flashpoints are weight limited. I like to do them after the campaign, because it makes them insanely easy.

That said... I also like to do them in career mode when it's much more of a challenge and the rewards are worth it.

In my campaigns now, I'm rocking Assaults long before I'm supposed to because of the Black Market. Now, with heavy metal, I just did the Liberate Panzyr mission with an Annihilator, King Crab, Banshee 6S, and a Marauder. Not the perfect weapons setup yet, but getting there. It's insanely easy at this point and I'll likely finish the campaign tomorrow when I get back to playing.

You could do that, but for Flash Points, you pretty much only need a big mechs and a 50 tons or lighter lance (I think some allow 55 tonners, but still cap it at 200 tons overall, but most seem to cap at 50).

The Taurians don't matter.

Before Heavy Metal, it took a while, because you needed to run the RNG missions between story ones to upgrade your mechs. With what Heavy Metal did to stores, as well as due to the various Titan missions, it makes it much easier to get bigger mechs early. And when you combine that with things like Snub PPCs, LB-2Xs, and the Ultra ACs, well, player power is ramped up.

And that means fewer missions needed between the story ones, and therefore, and overall shorter campaign.

Yeah i already felt that....im at 2 assault and 5 heavys after panzyr so...yeah.....even more of a reason to mod release flash points into the campaign so i can do that "side content" before i finish main story, because i lose all interest in doing flashpoints after i finish the mainstory....

Well, Heavy Metal does add a side story of sorts, consisting of four flash points. So there is still a bit of a story to do if you play them after the campaign.

True but...too many Games on the Backlog i want to finish till mhw iceborne comes out in jan so i rather mod it and enjoy it fully once than risk the loss of interest. and the hm flashpoints are tonnage restricted too i guess?

I believe one is, yes, max weight of 75 ton mechs, and 240 tons total, for one of its missions But that's the result of a choice. If you choose the other route, no cap.

If your done with the Campaign I highly recommend restarting in career mode with difficulty settings you think match your skill level. There are a number of flashpoints designed for 2 to 3 skull levels with rewards appropriate to this level and they are just more fun when your the right level.
Career mode is more sim like and you choose how hard things are at any given time.
Also a lot of low end game content has been tweaked / added since release and the early game is longer and more fun that it was originally.

Im not much of a Free Play Dude. I need Story. Just shredding Mechs for the Purpose of Shredding is not enough for me ^^" Im a Story Addictive. I wish we had a Ressource Tool to make our own Quests or Story Campaign. We could recreate nearly the whole BT Timeline with a bit Support from Harebrained. But such a Thing doesnt bring in Bucks so sadly we will not see such a Thing.

If you have the DLC, aka Flashpoint, urban and heavy metal there are a ton of story missions. More than the entire single player campaign.

As for your other issue about a resource tool, there is a flash point creator in the game so you can make a 100 mission long story if you so desired.

You are jumping to false conclusions.
