i also adjusted the length of the months to 120 so you pay out quarterly and upped the price on paying wages and mech support costs.
increased heat generated on ppc's and all stock lrm 20's and ac 20's so you cant just built a bunch of missile boats without feeling the burn.
i still like to have one good tank unit though and spam missiles just means with the added heat you cant just run in and spam knockdown from a distance have to use a bit more tactics usually i have 3 initiative on my missile boats and 1 or 2 on my tank depending whats in need of repairs tank is also melee oriented with almost full armor.
takes some time to grind to get a decent number of mechs and once you have the argo fully upgraded half a dozen tanks is a must at least.
oh and i turned on mech destruction and pilot death always fun to watch them die in a blaze of glory though annoying when it happens too often lol.
anyway lots of tweaks you can do
