Ah, so this is a whine thread ? You should have indicated it in the title.
Reputation with individual factions unlocks missions. Unsure if max MRB helps unlock those faction missions.
I believe it unlocks certain missions but there is a bug where they spawn as 5.5 skull missions instead which can't be accepted ever.
Edit: Unless you exploit a travel bug to accept them.
Will that happen? Only the Devs know, but it would be a lost opportunity for them if they have something like the Merc board rating in the game, but just doing the story has nothing much to do with it, if they never planned on implementing/using it in some way in a DLC.
That explains it. I've been wondering why a 5 skull mission for Davion says I lack sufficient reputation when I'm allied with them at over 240 rep points. I just figured that I needed more MRB rating. I won't worry about it now. Thanks.
