Liao and Federated Suns space (travel restricted) question

At any time do we get access to travel in Liao and Suns space?

I think maybe after you beat the story missions. I haven’t done the last one yet so I’m not sure

After the last mission you get a lostech Atlas II and can travel anywhere on the map.

After the last mission everywhere opens up for travel.

this is good to know. im hoping to be able to go to some systems owned by kurita to boost my faction rep with them at some point.

Kurita doesn't own any systems you can go to, you can still get rep for them though. Maybe they will expand the map with dlc or somthing.

Great houses are after you finish story.

And kurita missions are likely in Davion sector. Steiner are in Marik. Comstar have strong presences in a few worlds.

Well that is good to know, jus tlost my Gauss in a mission and I was like screw it I'll do a nother play through as the mech got smashed bad in the fight but it was the fist time I won the fight over others I keep loosing.

Ah that sucks, you can't get another Gauss though, Atlas doesn't have one. It is the same one Kamea uses.
