Really??? No Freakin' TimberWolf???
A Battletech game without a TimberWolf ...... that's just unforgiveable ....

And don't gimme that Clan Invasion Crap . Timber Wolfs were produced and introduced in 2946 exactly 100 years before the Clan Invasion and by that definition are LosTech(In terms of the game's logic).

DISAPPOINTED !!!!!

yes ,this is so unforgivable even a dead meme connot do it enough justice -.-

Really plz give me ♥♥♥♥ing mech commander 3 and keep your "no iconic Mechs here" turn based , badly optimnized , ♥♥♥♥♥♥ graphical engine choice lagfest -.-

Really noone at harebrain can convince me that they are actual battletech fans ... or even just played the old games .....
no bushwacker
no mad cat/timber wolf
no daishi/dire wolf
.... this is just the top of the mountain , so much stuff is meh

You wanna know why they did not implement Pulse Lasers??? Because they do not work in a turn based game -.-
@ people arguing there are pulse lasers ... yeah exactly 2 medium pulse lasers , and they are somewhat even worse then the regular onces , great implementation.

Your post is bad and you should feel bad.

Lol there are pulse lasers in the game. Also in table top where they all work fine.

No Timberwolf because they were not scene in the Inner Sphere until the Clan Invasion.

It is not lostech. It was designed by Clan Wolf in 2946. During the Clan exile. There is not way it can show up before 3049.

Also as far as none of anyone at HBS being Battletech fans or have even played the old game.

Im pretty sure this guy at HBS has played the game at least once

I'm sure Timber Wolves are all over the place in Clanner space, but since the game doesn't take place there, that unfortunately means no mad cats for us just yet :steamsad:

Last thing I saw in the game was my mechs using some pulse lasers. Last thing I read from this guys post is a complaint about the game not having pulse lasers. I'm confused.

Right, they were invented in 2946 in Clan space, before the Clan invasion.

Simply put, you are wrong, cause Timberwolf did not appear in the Innesphere till the Clan Invasion, and it is not LOStech either.

OP is using alternative facts in their post obviously.

And the lead designer's played Battletech since 1987.

...along with the Gargoyle and the Naga to replace the Woodsman.

Clan space was infested with them. Like you would turn on your lights in your cargo hold and see one scurry away. You would know that your ship just had millions of them lurking behind the bulk heads. Or you would wake up at night with little round bites in a line on your body and you would know. Time to fumigate the ship for Timber Wolves. I hear New York has a really Timber Wolf problem.

I’m sure everyone on staff has played it at least once. I just think the ultimate counter to “No one at HBS has ever even played Battletech” is pointing out the founder of the company is the co-creator of the damn game

It is, but I think that the lead designer has played it almost as long as it's been out is relevant.

Not sure if OP is trolling or moron. Funny either way.
