All Neurohelmets have skin contacts all around the skull that pick up the nerve impulses from the brain to control the mech's balance and other outputs.
Some rare mechjox had rare liquid cooled flightsuits and the very rare lostech light helmets from the old Star League era. House Kurita elite mechwarriors has the Mechwarrior Combat Suit that looks similiar to what the game shows except for the helmet. The outer rim worlds most like would not have the money and resources to provide anything like the MCS that House Kurita can use in th 3025 era. The Clans had the lightest combat neurohelmet that they developed from the Star League version and the combat flight suit from Star League times also.
