Where to buy double heat sinks ?

Hello,
Can someone tell me where i can find/buy double heat sinks ?
In the story i am
Right after the mission where i got the battlemaster (1st assault)
I don't know if i'll found some later ?

i havent found any yet and im even post campaign/story, so treat them carefully, put them in your legs etc

In the campaign you find some in the 'Mech's you recover at Nautilus Base

After you finish the campaign, one of your crew will suggest searching the deep periphery for Lostech. Whether this is actually possible or just fluff text is currently unknown.

I have seen some varient heat sinks types in the coding of the game - and it is potentially available at high tech / research systems.

But, the map that you see is all the map that you get, even after finishing. There is no Deep Periphery exploration post campaign. But, you can explore the 170 available systems.

I just figured she was talking about the unclaimed sector in the "south".

Systems with Star League tags can sell them or have missions there where units have lostech on them... but the base cost of a dhs is 630,000 so good luck lol. also missions there will kick your butt so have some money in the bank for repairs

Is this confirmed or just supposition?

Can anyone else confirm Snazzy Dragon's post about Double Heatsinks being available on Kimi or Joppa (or other systems with a Star League tag). I have hit at least 8 different ssytems with the Star League tag and none in stores. I have also done the contracts on those planets looking for them as loot drops and nothing, starting to serious doubt they are available other than in the campaign...

Noooo! I've been searching that area of the map to see if I could get some ER items and double heat sinks!

well it jsut means planetary stores cannot provide them. but doing missions on said systems against opfor that have mechs using said items it can be claimed as salvage. just make sure you negotiate for maximum salvage on those missions if you want as many as you can get. along with any other lostech weapons that might drop.

unless someone wants to post a screenshot of lostech for sale, ima call BS on that.

Mainly because they are considering adding lostech outside of campaign missions, so why would they need to consider that if its already done? Clearly its not available.

The ONLY way to find Lostech atm is through the campaign.

After completing the campaign, they suggest you go looking for Lostech in the deep peryphery, on planets with battlefields, ruins etc... but so far i've never seen any Lostech used by the enemy while doing contracts there nor ever dropped 1 at the salvage screen. It's either flavor text, or an extremely low chance

as far as i remember, at leats one of the devs is working on reblancing weapons, including los teach weapons as well as add the possability to obtain them outside of the campaign (we don't know how yet, if it's just salvage, trade or other new ways)
this might or might not include double heatsinks
