Borderless Window Mode
Seriously people... it's almost half done of 2018 and you do not have a borderless window mode?

Yeah, it's pretty silly. Thankfully, there is a workaround though:

Set it to Windowed mode.
In your Library, right click BATTLETECH > Properties > Set Launch Options
Enter the following, and save and close:
-popupwindow

It will now autorun in borderless window.

Next dream is audio when in the background.

Agreed!

My dream is a fix for all the dangerous performance issues. I have to restart my computer daily due to a BT memory leak/GPU issue that causes crashes in BT and other programs. I've never seen a game do something like that.

Awesome! Thanks :)

No more alt-enter every time the game loads combat.

Should probably be cycling your pc daily anyways. Consider the game giving you a helpful hint :)

I want a fix to the GPU issue for sure. I have noticed that Battletech runs worse the longer it goes but I found restarting just the app clears that, don’t need a full PC reboot

If the solution is such an easy fix, why is it not an ingame setting?

Just thought I'd add in here that i've been using a program called "windows borderless gaming" for many, many years. This can convert any window it borderless mode. I tend to use this over -popupwindow because i run multiple screens and the launch options dont lock your mouse cursor to the active window whereas WBG can. very frustrating to be trying to pan scroll or move units around and you end up clicking on your other screen all the time.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. You've saved me from much current and future frustration.
