Wheres the Raven? :(
The Raven is the mech that drew me into my early days of the battletechmechwarrior universe. I loved its design and speed, as well as its primary purpose on the battlefield. My friend who owns this game said that the raven happens to be one of the only main mechs NOT in the game. Devs why D:

That makes sense. I never considered the year the game takes place in vs the year of release in the lore.

SO I'd assume its going to be in a later DLC. (I mean the games associated with Paradox we're looking at DLC every other month for the next 3+ years haha)

Thanks for your wisdom!
@Notch please check your sources for yourself bevor telling wrong timelines

Plus ECM isn't in the game either, so that would be a real pain for a Raven, which is lore-wise a centerpiece of that particular mech.
But that gives us something to look forward to in an expansion/sequel, right? :)

Well there is a prototype of the raven, that was built in 3024
RVN-1X
The original 3024 prototype of what became the RVN-3L Raven, this was the unit that was pressed into service against the Federated Suns during the Fourth Succession War. With XL engine technology not yet available, the 'Mech mounted a standard Omni 175 fusion engine, giving it a maximum speed of 86 km/h, and was protected by four tons of standard armor. The EW Equipment at the time that this 'Mech was built consisted of a massive 7.5 ton experimental electronic warfare suite that unfortunately did not live up to expectations. The equipment also had the unfortunate side-effect, when damaged, of disrupting other systems, though normally communications and targeting only.

So, it could be added, but yeah, later on, is when they reach production status.

So it could appear. But maybe when the game has some expansion packs that will push the timeline forward, we will see this, but right now, I would hope that light mechs get a sensor range boost, and make them a bit more viable.
