Obviously it's streamlined, but then you only get a tiny fraction of the real value from selling mechs as well.
Also if you eject or loose a mech to destruction it should be like normal salvage mechs, not automatcially back in your inventory.
That means I think salvaging my ejected or downed mechs is a very silly idea.

No mercenary unit in the entire Inner Sphere would agree to a contract where their downed mechs could become property of the employer even after they win the engagement.
