Actually MC2 kind look - may be, but it's TBS, not RTS in basic difference.

Nope,Mech Commander 1 and 2 are Real Time Strategy (RTS) games.
Battletech is a Turn Based Strategy (TBS) game.

The format of playing is different.

Yes I would love a new Mech Commander and would back it like I did Battletech but there is no mention of a new game in development. Yet.

Do they still own those IPs or will they have to rebuild their catalogue? As history has taught us you should not believe in "Hope and Change" just because you like the look of the guy standing in of front you. You should wait and see what he does before you roll out the praise or criticism.

Read my comment above before making a wish list. I know for a fact that Microsoft no longer has any rights to the Battletech IP. If there is gonna be a MechCommander 3 it is gonna come from Paradox through Harebrained Schemes.

And they love the table top too much to create another one of those monstrosities that threw out half the lore and rules... To the point it was more akin to the genesis battletech game than anything like the table top
