Don't feel bad about being the millonth person to ask this long after launch.
Feel good about not being a "Tabletop Veteran TM" pre-launch still demanding clan tech anyways, in spite of very frequent reminders from the developers when the game takes place every literal five minutes.
(If my distant memories are right, the Vulture was my first exposure to battletech at a friend's house. So I can understand the soft spot for it).
One thing to keep in mind that isn't clan specific, but will SERIOUSLY impact the usual mindset of Clan mechs/clantech IS mechs.
In HBS Btech, double heat sinks do NOT apply to the ten freebie in engine sinks.
It's one of my legit favorite changes for Real Balance For Real Mechwarriors (as much as I joke about that stance). And I hope they do not backpedal on it or give AI Only Heat Advantages to circumvent it, should the Devs get around to a Clan era game.
There's a chance that, many DLC from now, the timeline might advance that far. But it's more likely that it'd only be in a sequel game.
