Not in this game or it's expansions. It's a common question, but the game was very deliberatly set in a "Clan tech? ahahah. hah. no" era.

Don't feel bad about being the millonth person to ask this long after launch.

Feel good about not being a "Tabletop Veteran TM" pre-launch still demanding clan tech anyways, in spite of very frequent reminders from the developers when the game takes place every literal five minutes.

(If my distant memories are right, the Vulture was my first exposure to battletech at a friend's house. So I can understand the soft spot for it).

One thing to keep in mind that isn't clan specific, but will SERIOUSLY impact the usual mindset of Clan mechs/clantech IS mechs.

In HBS Btech, double heat sinks do NOT apply to the ten freebie in engine sinks.

It's one of my legit favorite changes for Real Balance For Real Mechwarriors (as much as I joke about that stance). And I hope they do not backpedal on it or give AI Only Heat Advantages to circumvent it, should the Devs get around to a Clan era game.

The current game is set in the year 3025. The Vulture is a Clan mech, the Clans only attack in 3050.

There's a chance that, many DLC from now, the timeline might advance that far. But it's more likely that it'd only be in a sequel game.

The Bushwacker was the first mech I loved because of MechCommander 2, but that is an IS mech that required clan tech to get working. It's fluff story actually says they needed stolen clan schematics for the Vulture to get the Bushwacker working. I also miss the Uziel from MW4, very versatile and could carry early to mid-game quite well. But again that is a 3065 mech with double heatsinks, lostech in the 3025 period. I get the OP's frustration with the time period since a lot of the stuff we played years ago took place in a later time period with the more iconic mechs.

Tons of mods - I do not use them myself ( so do not know much about them ) but I believe Clan mechs are available in mods - would mess up the base game though
