Tyvm, looks like jumping is back on the menu!!
For anyone interested, the JJ settings folder is - Z_JK_VariantsCampaign_JumpJets
Installed an XL Engine, but didnt gain any additional tonnage.
So I'm glad that shutting off this non-lore-friendly limit is apparently that easy.
The jump jet mod has changed. As of now, it's called BT_Extended_JJs
Using ModTek didn't work for me, I had to use the in-game Mod interface to disable it, then restart the game.
A set of mods this complicated will probably always be a moving target, so it is possible it will change again. The mod makers aren't trying to hide anything, though, so you'll probably be able to find it again.
For instance, I have the Archer 2S mod which still doesn't allow jumpjets. I went to this folder: mods\BT_extneded\chassis\chassisdef_archer_ARC-2S.json
and found this line:
Change it to:
Chassis definition files can be all over, though. A LOT of those mods will have their own chassis files so they won't all be in the same folder.
You can, but you realistically don't, not if you are running the proper customization rules that is meant to go with it. Not sure why this needed a necro to say that although guess Elvis did provide some useful up to date info.
