plus you have 9 different pilots to pick from with their own stats and skills.
For the full game I believe it is over 50 total mechs plus non playable tanks and vehicles as opponents and allies
see the pinned topic at top and check out the forum for more info
Mechs that (probably) will NOT make it for the initial release: Black Knight, Javelin, Archer, Phoenix Hawk, Wolf Hound, Bushwhacker, Crab (???), Roughneck, Rifleman, Cyclops and Mauler.
Otherwise, I think all of these Inner Sphere mechs are supposed to be in:

Similar cases with the Wolfhound (earliest prototypes were produced in 3028 and it didn't go into full production until 3052), Bushwacker (3053), and Mauler (3048).
Probably because it doesn't have a design fitting the aesthetic yet. Cheaper to re-use the models from MWO than commission a brand-new design and all the concept art that entails.
A lot of people are rooting for the Hatchetman including quite a few of the Devs and there is a strong in-house movement for this mech going on.
The big issue is, that there is no model for the Hatchetman from PGI (PGI shares their assets with HBS) and creating a mech from zero is currently not an option for HBS.
But, as Mitch Gitelman, the studio-head likes to say: In success, all things are possible - and the Hatchetman is pretty far on top of the list of "all things", right next to co-op mode. :)
Just remember, it only lists the 'Mechs, not what variants of those 'Mechs will be in.
