It's been a year daddy

Does anyone else feel like the game hasn't changed at all since 2017? Sure, things look different, but it feels like all that was done was a minor graphics change. It just seems so inorganic and stale. How has so little changed in almost 7 years?

It's because the guy who makes it is alone, and he has a job and family to take care of. So he only does it in his off-time. Though as to why it's been so long since an update, I suspect he's lost motivation for the game. Sometimes you start something and it feels great until a few years later when you want to move on to something new.

Of course that's all speculation, but it's probably the best answer we'll get, since it's been radio silence for a year.

Very nice, hopefully we'll get thirdperson animations soon

You should have bought the game because you thought that the current state of the game was substantial enough to merit a purchase. You, in fact, have no standing on demanding updates, or even information from the developer, as you bought the game in it's current state.

Cant believe there are people ironically defending a Dev who has made hundreds of thousands of dollars on a product and abandons it with no trace of whats going on. Do people have so little respect for there own time or money or that of anyone else? Its not like youtube where we are getting the videos for free and that person can leave and come back when they want. This game is part of BUSINESS that takes money, and promises a product, and now is not delivering on that promise. What a joke

Sorry to say the dev has basically abandoned the game. There's a possibility that they will return, but most likely the only new content we will ever get is mods. Luckily, there's enough here to still be a good braindead game with mods, I like to have huge 2 hour long WW2 battles.

bro. steelraven7 hasn't abandoned the game, literally just go on the ravenfield discord. he's working on a campaign with full cut scenes. Yes it is taking a very long time, and i could probably speak for all of us saying that it is a little bit disappointing. But please don't spread misinformation :)
