With the lack of updates and the workshop being overrun by in-game map editors(no offense), it's getting close.

I was really hoping that mutators would change that. I thought they would be more like AI development rather than things like voiceovers or new skins. I thought mutators would add in new game mechanics or make the AI more difficult or act more realistic. Instead it's just small things like voices changes which aren't really that impressive. I don't know why so many people like them so much. They don't change anything about the game. It's just voice that aren't even relevant to what's going on. They'll randomly shout grenade when no one's around. It doesn't really make sense why steel didn't just add voices to the game himself? It would've been so easy. It's such a waste that modders spend their time doing voice things instead of actually improving the gameplay

It was meant as a joke. Of course, in a Single Player game there are just bods.
And I have no idea about multiplayer, last time I wanted to test it months ago, but there were only two servers online.

There is no lack of updates, updates with full EA versions come every 2 or 1,5 months, and most of the time one beta branch update per week, so no, just because a single developer isn't deliviring updates in record time it dosen't mean the game is dead.

they are not a AAA company that can send 200 people on a project, and the team being really small i dont think this game is dead yet
