Personally, I think we'd need an entirely different branch remade from scratch of Ravenfield for a decent multiplayer experience. I did see a bit of potential in the multiplayer aspect of this game, but without the ability to use mods from the workshop the potential isn't going to be met. People want to scale battles with custom weapons.
It would be spectacular, I'm not going to lie about that. Imagine, you could setup a civil war or revolutionary war battle, and then setup a game where it's a wild west shootout, or even a world war, hell, you could jump straight into modern infantry combat. Then the next moment you're doing stealth operations in a dark map. Would be more popular than "that" other game. They tried, but that game didn't last long. It was just too low key and linear to survive.
multiplayer in this game would suck
