They just put their mods on their website without giving credit to the creator. They make money by putting ads on the website.

That site looks janky as hell, as long as there's nothing I can get there which isn't on the workshop I don't see the point in going there at all.

If you don't own the game on steam you can't sub to mods on the workshop

The point of the website was to give mods to people who pirated the game

Well, even if you pirated, I'd rather someone use something like Steam Workshop Downloader rather than a random Russian site that steals mods without crediting the authors of the mod.

Actually they put your name in the mod,it says "author:"whatever"",but they don't ask for our consent,we don't see any of the profits,and they also completely ignore us.
Sui even got a lawyer to try to DMCA them,they took down the specific mod he complained about,and they reuploaded it later

a dedicated discord was even setup to get mods taken off of their website as well as others, but we were mostly unsuccessful in getting anything substantial done because of their bs practices

Yes,but most people when they want mods and don't have the game just search for mod sites,sadly i've had to tell more than a few pirates to use workshop downloader,because they didnt know what it was
