A poor mans Battlefield 4

I've seen a lot of gameplay. and played the demo on itch, it was fun but I just want to know how good the game is, It looks like Battlefield 4 or 3. but I am not sure how the game is

Reminds me more of Battlefield 1942. Which was the best battlefield. So not a bad thing!

That's what I gathered from watching videos; it's basically a single-player Battlefield. Which is not a bad thing; it'll be fun to wreck armies as a solo player without even better players gunning ME down (or doing obscene things to my mother in allchat). Am I correct in my assessment?

Yes, it's pretty much low-budget, non-competitive, singleplayer-only Battlefield sandbox but with the extremely active modding community throwing in dozens of new weapons and maps each week. If you want to take a break from the toxic cesspit that is the Battlefield fanbase then this is the next best thing.

Well, for me it isn't an replacement for any Battlefield, and i happily play sometimes Battlefield V, but rather an good addition, because Ravenfield delievers something which Battlefield don't do this days anymore. Offline / Singleplayer-bility against Bots combined with Mods and Custom-Maps. That's one of the things which i miss the most in modern Battlefield and quite intersting(but also somewhat sad) that even Call of Duty deliever (on consoles) Offline-Splitscreen vs Bots and with Black Ops 3 on PC Custom Mods / Maps... sooo yeaahh...
