How do I create a squad?

I just recently bought this amazing game but inoticed theres a key and gadget for squads. I've only been playing point match so its probably not avilable in that mode. is there some setting or key to create a squad?

It actually is available in all modes. Just press "G" when looking at an ally, and they'll follow you! You can do this to more allies to expand your group. Also, if you hold down the "G" key, you'll be able to give your squad tasks to do, such as defending your base, or attacking a nearby enemy base. There's also an item called the "Squad Kit" or something like that, which will allow you to do more with this amazing mechanic!

you can also use g to command your sqaud to enter vehicles with you, try switching to beta branch, go into turret of a bomber, and then have someone join your sqaud, see what happens!

You can change the hotkey for this. It doesnt have to be
g.

How do you get it so that it resets the squad to follow after commanding them to move to a set location?

Look at the ground and press G to toggle between Hold and Follow.
