So is this game like TAB's or something?
I'm thinking of getting this game but are you able to place your troops down in the area you want? Or does a round start and your troops are aready placed if so can you at least order them around? I just want to know.

No, you select how many bots there are, which map you want, the difficulty of said bots, and pretty much go at it. There IS a planned squad mechanic feature allowing you to command the bots, but that's when the campaign is released (which is sometime soon)

I still recommend it regardless.

Ok thx this game looks pretty cool so I'm pretty sure I'm buying it soon today! Kind of looks like a Battlefield game but a funny verison of it.

At the moment there are only 3 functioning maps, the bots only have 2 difficulties, easy, and challenging, In easy your technically a Rambo, and in challenging the bots headshot you across the map. As for gameplay... Look down and kick to kick yourself, nuff said. It plays like a cheap battlefield except with no real players. As for graphics, you can probably find better in a browser game. You can get 20 solid hrs out of it.

Oh yes, the beta branch. Isn't that more unstable than the actual game... After all its a beta test zone.

The BETA has a lot more content, it's just some small inviseble walls that can make it a little annoying, but it's totally worth it.

The Beta branch is hardly a real beta. It's more "future features" and less "unstable mess" as it has a bunch of new things and no buggyness as a drawback. Honestly everyone should be on the beta branch simply because it's just the next version of the game, essentially.

Why are you always trying to put the game in the ground? If you don't like it then just write a negative review and leave.

I'm not trying to put the game down (its already there (lol JK.)). Think of it as an honest review, and besides I never said "don't buy, it sucks ass". I reviewed it as an everyday-logical consumer, not as a die-hard fan-boy.

I don't know, every time I see you comment on a forum it's usually saying that the game is bad.

Fiddle in my opinion he just gave me a stronger review he never said the game sucks he just gave his facts/opinions.

Very true, I've just never seen him say anything positive but I guess some games aren't for everyone.

Back on topic, I guess you could kinda say its like TABS but you don't get to place your units, you just fight with them. The physics are wonky like TABS and the AI can be funny at times.
Everything else is in Ravenfield isn't really like TABS.
