This is exciting, what a great announcement. It appears that these games will be available individually once released too though? Or, will we have to buy the whole package with the kickstarter to get all of them?

I have the same question as Sockman about whether or not they will be indivually sold later.

Also, if I do buy the package and get the keys for all the games, should I go ahead and use the keys for the Myst games already in my library on Steam? Is there anything different those versions will bring versus what Steam has on the store currently? Or should I give those keys to a friend, and just redeem Myst III since that is the one not on Steam at all right now?

You can buy the whole package now on Kickstarter and just have extra keys to give your friends or you can buy them each individually after the kickstarter. They will all be available individually on Steam and gog.com. However, they're cheaper if you buy them all at once and you'll be helping Cyan.

There isn't going to be anything new at all as far as the game content and quality. They will just be updated to run better on Windows 10. Remember Steam is missing Myst 3 and 4

I backed them too, already have all the myst games, sound track for Myst, Huge map of Myst island. Glad they are going to do this as I'm getting the "bookmaker" package and all the games will work on Win 10. It was mentioned about getting keys for the actual disk they will send me, just dont know if they will unlock game or be a key to download them. But they are shipping disks with a book box to keep them in.

Gee, I remember playing Myst 20+ years ago. Loved it then. That was using a game console. My computer now is i7 6 processors with 12 threads, 16gigs ram, Gforce 1080Ti graphics card. Obduction was beautiful on it.
