no controller support
Hello,

Unfortunately, my XBOX One controller does not work in the game. In the settings you can switch the vibration for the controller on and off and the controller also reacts. Everything else doesn't work.
I am using Windows 10.
Unfortunately I can't find any further information on the internet or on Steam. I don't want to play the game without a controller.
Can someone help me out?

Hello,

I have just bought the game and I have the same problem. Have you fixed it in the end? If yes, how?

hey,
in the end, it worked.
unfortunately it's been so long that I don't remember what it was.
did you already try to disable the steam overlay or choose an alternative controller configuration within steam?

sorry to necro this, I had an issue where my left thumbstick would only move side to side and up and down, so no diagonals. I got it to work by turning off the controller while the game was launched then turning it back on

I had a similar issue with my Stadia controller, playing this game on Linux through Proton. I enabled Steam Input for this game and after that the controller works as expected.

Sadly the game just stutters when trying to move with a controller. Reminds of the issue i see in other games where it keeps swapping back and forth between keyboard and controller input and doesnt know which one to use; instead of exclusively picking one control source.
Hy you all! I had the flickering controller problem. Here is the solution (as well as how to change the default name of Non-Steam games): I've got the game for free through Epic Games, but ran into the same issue. Add it to your steam library. In the current version of the layout it is:

Library > Click at "Add a Game" (on the bottom left corner) > Click at "Add a Non-Steam Game" > Click at "Browse" (in the case of Epic Games you will find it at the path: "C:\Program Files\Epic Games\LastDayOfJune") > After that click at "Add Selected Programs" > Right Click on the game at the library list > Edit the name below Shortcut right at the beginning of the recent-opened modal > In the same modal, go to "Controller" tab > Select "Enable Steam Steam" at the dropdown > Close the modal > Click at "Play"

Follow this tutorial once, and always boot the game from Steam and it will work smoothly every time. You can do it for any other game you want to play that offers poor or non-existent support for any controller that you want to play with.

If that helped you please Award this reply so that others can find this easily in the future.
