How is there 90+ players on Steam Charts but 2 players in game servers?
Steam Charts[steamcharts.com] never reflects the correct playerbase. It shows 60-90 people in game in different times of the day, but when you go to check in game, there are usually less than 5 people in servers.

What gives?

They could be on a different regional server. Top right, first button/furthest from the X on the main menu is the drop down box which changes the region.

they're most likely playing customs

Switched to the EU Server too?

The vast majority play on the European server. In the evening in Europe the number of players on average 40-60.
