Recon & Mini-map
This is more of a general game question to the wider audience rather than development or the war wolves.

Just a topic I was thinking about; Obviously we have the "Recon" zones and we can call the little plane in to make a few points on the few or many soldiers we spot.
Now the main bulk of my question sits around the mini map - I'll be honest - I never have time to look at this thing.

I assume it updates with locations of enemy soldiers after a re-con?

So really I think I am asking, in Tannenberg does anyone use the mini-map to it's full potential? I know I don't. If you do, do recon planes help - and should we be coordinating re-con planes to certain areas if people need assistance.

Sometimes I try and ask this - in good games it works, much like when as a team we start to coordinate arty and NCO mortar attacks etc.

What are peoples thoughts? How do you find recon and the minimap in Tannenberg?

I sometimes think we should see the results of a recon on our main maps, as I find that would be handy (I like to pull that atlas up from time to time)

Yeah I often use it, keeping an eye out for the red dots can help spot a push and where allies are dying can show high risk areas.

Recon+artillery being co-ordinated can be very powerful.

Yeah the bigger map could also be of help.

I must be thinking of the spawn map or the field phone map, but I could have sworn that the Overview Map shows the recon info.

I pay attention to the mini-map a lot myself and just last weekend, I was able to get a couple nade kills with the recon info. (On top of a good few arty and rifle kills)

Maybe I'm mixing up Squad Defense, but don't skulls pop up for enemy deaths and not just for deaths of friendlies..?

It could be - I have always thought they were for friendlies only
