the only way i can see new squads being added is if
they allow not just standard issue rifles and pistols but rarer ones and ones officers bought and brought to the front
but that has to be very limited per squad and per team
and i never said the entire squad maybe only 1 to 2 guys max
or u could even have it so u have to find them on the battlefields maybe on corpses of dead soldiers that can be seen on the maps which if only 1 soldier can pick the weapon up it will keep it very limited
the problem with polish legion is that they fought for
austrian hungarian empire
german empire
russian empire
although i would like to see them added for both sides
i would like to also see
croatian troops but they used same weapons as austria only difference in some uniforms although i cant tell what rank they were wore black uniforms with a sort of top hat
final one i would like to see
czech legion
There is factual evidence of german and russian front line use of madsen lmg's in 1914,
There is evidence of russian use of hotchkiss m1909 lmg's in late 1915,
There is factual evidence of russian front line use of chauchat lmg's in mid 1916,
There is factual evidence of german and russian front line use of lewis lmg's - mg08/15's and bergmann lmg's in mid 1917,
I can go on with flamethrowers and sniper rifles but this is all irrelevant as the dev's clearly don't care for historical accuracy and are more interested in there anti historical political correctness.
>t. unbiased third party
I don't really think that there is any kind of political correctness move?
The devs didn't add mobile machine guns because of balance and the fact that most MGs used were fixed.
There is proof, but maybe not proof of massive use of lmgs in the front.
I agree they shouldve added a polish legion before latvian riflemen, but i really don't see how that is "PC".
in summary, the devs have shown a clear bias against the CP already somewhat evident from verdun, plus a new bias against russians.
however for tannen, new CP squads are totally possible
