Russian Civil War Mod/Alternate Game?
I got Tannenberg a few days ago, and after playing Verdun a good bit and getting into Tannenberg, I love the developers.

I've seen the discussion of adding the Russian Civil War as a front before, and it not being the creators intent on doing so. I was wondering if any mods were in the work to achieve such, or, and this would be more interessting, the idea of the same guys behind the WW1 game series to make a Russian Revolution/Civil War game.

I think it would be one of the first of its kinds out there, because while Battlefield 1 did it, it was with the battlefield zeal and gameplay. Imagine Tannenberg but with the Ciivil War, with the Red and White armies fighting in vast plains and with weapons like the Tachanka.

With that being said, it could also have different factions like the Black Army, which either could be a unit for the Reds or a third faction that could fight both Whites and Reds like in history. Along with the various famous units from the Whites and the Reds, they could also give the White Army the foreign forces that were sent by the west to aid them, like US or British troops.

While I could understand the game devs wanting to focus on what they have now and improving it, this would honestly be an interesting idea for a game like Tannenberg or Verdun, but with the Russian Revolution as a back drop with the possible addition of Calvary or Tachankas.

Mods aren't possible with the games set up so there wont be anyone working on a custom build for RCW.

Devs are focused on WW1 still, so if they were to do another game it would be based off the other regions of that conflict rather than the RCW

Well, perhaps when they fun out of fronts, given they have East and West, and maybe once they get out one for the Fronts down in Africa, the far east with Japan, and Turkish front. It would be all interesting to see.

The probability of them doing something with Japan is close to zero, since the only notable ground battle that involved Japanese Army was Siege Of Tsingtao. One battle is not enough to make it into a separate game.

Do you think there is that much interest in a RCW game?
it might be to niche; you can barely get enough players for a WW1 game.

Well, most people interested in WW1 would also be most likely interested in the RCW, and many people interested in WW2/the USSR would be interested.
