Still Has Denuvo...
What the actual hell? It's been almost 3 years now, and they still haven't removed it. I bought Ultimate Ninja Storm 4 specifically in preparation for this game (wanted to brush up on how the story went, since I quit reading the manga).

Thought I could wait until they removed DENUVO from the PC version. But it's still present on the steam page!

Why? You trying to make free copies for all your friends?

Google - DENUVO
Denuvo is a digital rights management (DRM) solution for game developers. They can license Denuvo and integrate it into their PC games. If they do, the Denuvo software provides anti-piracy protection. It’s designed to make it more difficult for people to “crack” games and distribute them for free. According to Denuvo, it “stops the reverse engineering and debugging” required to crack a game.No anti-piracy solution is perfect, but Denuvo …

You left the best part out:

...Players gaming offline for a long period of time can also suffer if proper preparations are not made in advance to ensure the validity of the offline token. The lack of transparency on storefronts regarding this process from Denuvo Anti-Tamper is a hindrance for potential purchasers, as it means people might not be aware of its presence and periodic online requirement before purchasing a game that, after purchase, the purchaser may find unplayable when an online connection is unavailable.

yeah i missed that, but seeing it doesn't change my original question. If that is an issue, thats a personal issue. "oooh i cant play a game that is primarily online only, in offline mode."

No, I just don't want that stupid crap on my computer. The first and so far only experience I've ever had with a service that needed to constantly validate my source in order to run a game was Guild Wars 2.

Because my service provider kept regularly changing my IP address, the game launcher constantly registered it as coming from a different source, and needed me to verify it through my email. Often times, I had to do this 4 or 5 times in a row, before the game would finally launch!

Until the next time I closed out of the game and had to start the process over again... Plus, I understand that DENUVO only applies to PC releases of such games (haven't seen it for consoles, yet). And appears to be specifically associated with Steam, as GoG and other distributors don't feature it.
