ya, team work in the clan is definitely part of the problem constantly being yelled at for not healing people who are half way across the map when i'm being pummeled. one guy literally stood staring at my healing dome, never walked in it to heal, ran off wiht an inch of health and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at me for not healing them. i'm like dude, i have one heal, and you just walked away from it. mhmm.
what did i expect. i've been playing healer for over 15 years across multiple games. It's always the sme issue, blame healer for everything, never defend healer, yell at healer for not healing when their abilities are being charged.
mhmm. nothing new really.
people still haven't clued in that its a two way street. I heal you, and you defend me from being attacked by multiple enemies when necessary. You move to me if you are low on health and see that i am not within range. if i can, i move to you. etc etc
they just don't get it. they expect healers to be these gods that just instantly heal them to full health with no effort on their part. they don't come to our defense when we are 4v1d and tehn ♥♥♥♥♥ at us.
pretty much like this in all online games. Mained healer in wow for 15 years. same story, tank doesn't use cool downs ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at me for not healing them when they die, even though i was and they got 1 shotted.
we are not gods. we cannot heal one shot damage. use your bleepin cool downs, get within range of us when we can't reach you,d efend us when we are about to die, and if you can't do that, play a different type of game.

still think hinata shouldn't be a healer tho.

let me tell you a tip about hinata... do you want her heals to be more useful?... use the medical heal boost and the boost for fast cooldown ninja tool (sorry i don't know the name of those boost in english)... also the heals will be more efficient if you use byakugan before using the heal tag... because it gives a great heal boost (those in combination are stronger than cellular extraction) and yes... cast characters receive shinobi boost.

I'm glad that other people understand this. Even during normal events, most of the `Healer` class's jutsu fit more of a regular `support` sort of role, what with most of their jutsu inflicting a myriad of status effects, both positive and negative. The role itself for CACs feels quite similar to using an attack-class, combo-wise, if you use Kunai instead of healing tags.
When playing as a healer, I can't live without kunai. They are amazing to use, defensively as that split-second hitstun can make a massive difference, and make it -so- much easier to land a lot of their more offensive supporting jutsu like Shadow Possession. Kunai seem to save lives more than take them, you could say!
Note: Half your posts on this forum are you complaining about how, very basic things in the game don't work. Like targetting, for example. Git gud would probably be some great advice for you to follow.
EDIT(longish): This game is nothing like a traditional MMO party dynamic with 'DD, healer, and Tank'. Since there's no way for defense types to really pull enmity from a human opponent, there's no `tank` which means that the healer is basically left to their own devices, or using general team coherency and common sense, rather than just relying on the poorly implemented etymology of the classes.
One may be called 'attacker' but they don't always have to attack from the front. 'Ranged' types that only sit at range can potentially be less effective than a ranged type that attacks from very close range despite having lower HP (Best advice for that is to try to be `sneaky` or just get really good at not getting hit. It's very possible and somewhat simple to dodge a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of incoming attacks in this game.)
`Defense` types with no offensive jutsu may find themselves unable to fight as enemies with common sense will just run away from them, etc. . .
The game isn't about `learning classes` it's about `learning your capabilities` while the classes just provide a functional limit so things don't become too out of hand. We have classes so they can implement cool, functional jutsu like Subterranean Voyage, for example, but keep it limited so that people with access to cellular extraction can't use it. But just because one CAN use cellular extraction, doesn't mean that it's the best choice for what you should be able to do in `that` very moment.

PS : i long ago resolved the camera issue , by setting the camera to 0 and have since cleared all those troublesome vr missions mostly solo.
My issue is with this event. if this was a normal situation where you could swap gear, add ninja boost abilities and otherwise modify your character, none of this would matter. The issue is you cannot. The issue is you are stuck playing whatever you get with the ninja master you picked. So not sure what you are talking about. It's not possible to make changes to hinata's load out so that her healing tag charges faster..
If it is, I'd love to know how to do this, maybe i'm missing something.
iyashi no kata (healing model) this literally specifies being a healer. Ya, a healer can do othre things, but mainly they heal. So, to me it's an issue when half the healers don't heal and instead have support only abilities. Why am i going to play ohnoki as a solo healer? this just makes no sense in my current situation (solo play, no teamwork clan) to me, in solo play hinata is more of a combat character than she is a healer. i'm not fixated on setting up combos, removing debuffs and protection hits etc when my "team" can't even co-ordinate with me. I just want to heal people and keep them alive. also, when most people see that little heart during their random solo que, they probably are expecting to be healed, not to have some person who sets traps, puts enemies to sleep and occassionally throws a healing tag their way. Just sayin. in non grouped play, no one cares about that, they just don't want to die so they can beat things up. when they get a "healer" with no heals, it is extremely frustrating to them as well. I don't think they plan on changing the way this works either, since in all likelihood the next dlc character is Mei, who will be a "healing type" and have 3 support abilities revolving around the art of escape/dot . youton youkai no jutsu is the only one with any clear visual. Seems to be some sort of lava trap that she lays out to protect her team mates , able to trap a couple enemies. there's also a water trap and some sort of mist ability mentioned, though no visuals are clearly given.the last healer was also ino who also had a ton of support abilties. I get what your saying, however, alot of these support abilities do not work well without co-ordination and a team. Trying to go solo or play with others who don't take the game seriously and have no sense of team work, pretty much makes playing with these characters next to impossibl.. in a team situation where everyone is co-ordinated I would totally agree. However, that is not my experience playing this game for most of my time playing it. even now, being in a small clan, typically during this even i'm like "only heal i have is a healing tag" or "you gotta stand in the healing circle" and have my team mates walk off with an inch of health out of the healing cirlce or whine because i didn't heal them with my healing tag or my jutsus get reset and can't heal them.
It's very annoying. There's not much any healer can do while under attack by multiple enemies wiht only a healing tag. if this game had some more abilities, if this event had more "healers" with more "heals" than I would tend to agree with what you are all saying. However it does not. it literally just has kabuto, sakura and sarada, and even kabuto mainly just heals himself and sarada attempts to heal people, who just run away. tsundae is also ok for her ult. ino is alright too ..i guess. her long distance heal doesn't tend to heal through large spurts of damge though and has too long of a cd.
soo..looks like the next healer will be healing tag exclusive..although these support abilities seem decent, if the leak is to be believed..seems legit.
you can tell me i'm complaining all you want. but these are legitimate flaws in the way this game is designed, just like the camera system.
