We don't know all the jutsus that are going to be in the final game and how many of them we will have. About awakenings, it's not going to be a separate thing like in storm, but there is some abilities that can give you similar effects (like 8 gates of Rock Lee and Sage mode of Mitsuki). They are in the same slots as the normal or ultimate jutsus.
The gameplay, they do not show us everything and keep some things in secret. And the gameplay I've seen was actually quite intense. Players who played this game on previous betas and demos is saying that it's fun. We will see when it came out.
P.S. Sorry for bad english
Well, as a normal jutsu it's very possible. Btw, on one of the loading screens we can see how created character summons salamander that looks like Hanzo's (doubt he will be playable).
I agree about the summoning of tailed beast or special animal (slug, snake, toad) because they would be too OP with their size and would be game breaking.
Just saw the toad summoning you're talking about, seems it stays for one attack then vanish :(
I hope we will get more than that (summonings staying longer and giving the possibility to harass) like Sai drawings and even Deidara clay or Konan paper.
Dolls are one of the coolest feature of NSUNS games so I really hope we'll see stuff like that.
About speed of the gameplay, I'm thinking about how my fav. character in NSUNS 4 is Shisui which has an incredible speed and dynamic gameplay... The videos I saw until now don't give me that feeling but maybe it's different once you play? We'll see.
Just remebered, Deidara can summon c2 dragon, which stays for long time and shoots bombs at enemies, he also has hp (it is officialy confirmed). And there is definetly not gonna be NSUNS 4 speed, it's different style game
I hope our custom character will be able to learn those stuff too.
i don't think so, i know there is hanzo mask that we can use for own avatars and salamander but it can be like seven heavens breathing method (8 inner gates brother xD) or unnamed new earth style secret technique without specific user in naruto series and hanzo is not that popular character to put him
I hope there is more to it than meet the eyes !
In case you haven't been watching any gameplay videos all this time, the game isn't designed to work that way!
The closest you're going to get is temporary buffs provided by various Jutsu. But if you want special transformations that kick in when your health gets low, tough luck.
I for one am glad they won't be implemented, because it will give people less incentive to make a ♥♥♥♥ ton of Uchiha members!
As for minor summoning jutsu, that is still a possibility. One of the earliest demo videos showed Naruto summoning a toad that shot a water bullet from its mouth, and one of the loading screens shows the Attack type character summoning what I think is a salamander.
I don't think great summoning techniques would be over powered, since there are some secret jutsu which can kill your opponents in a single shot (Kamui and Kirin being two examples). But it seems that actually summoning them is going to be restricted to special gameplay modes, since we know that Gamabunta is summoned via collecting a power scroll.
Lastly, we don't know for sure if Dogs and Puppets will be available in game. A couple of Kiba's face paints are available in character creation, so maybe they'll be part of the DLC, if they're not already available in game.
After all, that's what the manga/anime is all about.
When I see the wood techniques, I'm rather hyped for those as they are different from what we could see until now.
I also hope to see interesting illusions to divert attention (especially in CTF) because "ninja" ?
