The diffrence in 60 fps vs 70-90 fps
Game play via 70-90 fps

gameplay at 60 locked fps

imo the sweet spot was around 80 fps.. , 60 felt to slow, and 144 was impossible

How did you unlock the fps?

i have a 144hz monitor.. so I can ajust the monitor from 144 and lower..

That's not unlocking fps though. I also use a 144hz monitor. You're referring to refresh rate which is different from fps. The game is locked at 60 fps, so any monitor that has a refresh rate of 60hz+ you won't notice a difference if they have the same response times.

hm the game locks it self to the refresh rate of the monitor..

which is why at 80 fps the game "runs" faster, the sterring is extreamly twitchy and tight at 80 fps vs 60 fps , u can completely feel the diffrences.. though u should see what i looks like at 144fps.. no thats crazy stupid..

No it doesn't work like that. The game is locked at 60 fps. Again you are referring to refresh rate. Most if not all 144hz monitors allow you to change the refresh rates. Of course you can lower the refresh rate to lower lag, but it's not changing the fps of the game. Go in the Steam settings and enable your fps counter, you will see that the game does not go above 60 fps.

actually you are wrong and it DOES work like that. If i make my monitor 144hz then the game runs at 144fps
Xtermin8 May 18, 2018 @ 3:02pm
I'm not going to argue about this when I know I'm right. The game is LOCKED at 60 fps. The only way that you are going to get more frames is if the dev adds an option to unlock fps. By setting your monitor to 144hz does not make the game's fps increase to 144hz. The game is still only outputting 60 fps while your refresh rate is at 144hz. FPS and Refresh Rate are 2 different things. As stated in the response to the OP, go turn on your fps counter, set your monitor to 144hz, and I guarantee you that your counter is still going to be at 60. What do you not understand about the game being locked to a max of 60 fps?
Boomslangnz May 18, 2018 @ 3:05pm
well your guarantee is full of it cos its not 60 dumbass. It says 144 on my fps counter

If you are gonna try make out you know what you are talking about, how about actually being correct.

Yes, FPS and Refresh rate are 2 different things and no one said they aren't but don't keep insisting to everyone they are wrong when we are all getting 144 FPS on our 144hz monitors and not 60fps on our 144hz monitors. If we were getting 60 fps on our 144hz monitors then we wouldn't be having an issue would we!

no the game is "suppose" to be locked at 60hz how ever if u have higher monitor and force "Vsync" on the game will try to match the refresh rate.. aka the game will try to run at 144 fps

and yes I have video proof of this..

there a reason why in the "dev Notes" the dev points out on higher refesh rate monitor to force cap the refresh rate to 60hz

also you can not play MP on a monitor with a higher refresh rate of 60, it just fail to load...

I'll have a video up that I had use a actually digital record to cap since OBS and other recording software caps my fps no higher then 80 it seems..

there a massive huge diffrence with vsync at 60 vs sync at 144.. u need massive cat like reflects to even attempt at 144..

also my game counter at 144 hz reads anywere before 90-144 on the fly. I can't seem to get a steady 144 , it mostly hovers around 120..

also as seen here https://i.gyazo.com/c7154986be0efeee9eb859669dd051bc.jpg 127 fps @ 144hz

I did the mileage mode and it broke... I insta won ever incounter it seem like, Its part of the video I have uploading atm

Crazy cat like reflects https://youtu.be/pSHAZoabpDY

Just like the Teknoparrot games that need to be in 60hz. The developers said to put/lock to 60hz when playing.
Boomslangnz May 19, 2018 @ 2:39pm
Ya, this is typical from arcade games and same thing occurs with many teknoparrot games

They are designed for 60hz
