Stuck in Artifact Reliquary (Purity lowers the chance to get artifact keys)

The lunar item Purity should not affect the drop chance of artifact keys. I was stuck in the Artifact Reliquary for nearly 2 hours. I only found one artifact key besides the one given to you at the start. Eventually I just gave up and killed myself so I could do a new run as there was obviously no way I was going to get the two more keys required to leave the stage.
