Corrupted save file

I just lost 200 hours worth of progress but for some reason even if I don't have steam cloud enabled and I've deleted the corrupted save data and the game still won't go past the main menu screen. Is there any other way that I could fix it, I don't care if I have to delete the save data I just want to play the damn game.
