voidling boss not spawning

After taking the first portal after defeating the voidling the first time the boss doesn't apear again and we can only run around defeating minions untill we give up and quit the game.


This has happened every time me and my friends try to defeat the boss, four times now.

Any solution on how to get to the next stage would be apreciated.
