Vase just doesn't work

I was using the eccentric vase in an eclipse run and I noticed that the tunnel didn't hit any surfaces before stopping, it would just stop in midair, seemingly at a random distance. sometimes it would hit ceilings like the pillar skip on the moon but I couldn't use it to cross the moon to get to the soup. It also sometimes went about 3 feet before stopping and I have absolutely no idea why.
Please fix this cuz it just means the vase is completely unusable except to skip pillars

from what I was told it has to do with having bolstering lantern. I think they are redeeming themselves on dlc but man you cant be working hard to fix all these problems and then take months to fix the bugs you introduce while doing so
