Multiplayer Private Lobby

Hello Everyone,

I wanted to ask if anyone has managed to get arround the issue after you pass the black screen in multiplayer lobby when u see all the UI but not your character and you are unable to click ready to proceed to the game.

I have tried the following

1.Tried Verifying the Integrity of the files of the game
2. Reinstalling the game ( reinstalling Steam + the game) + Reinstalling the game a couple of times
3.Allowing the game trough the firewall
4. Port Forwarding the needed ports for Steam
5. Also restarting the PC + Router multiple times
It has been going on for a couple of hours now.

If anyone can help it would be wonderful.

Update on the issue:
Managed to get it to work when i used my Mobile as Hotspot for tethering. So this seems to be an Network issue. I am not exactly sure how to fix it tho. For now i am using all my mobile data.
Will keep this updated.

My brother and I have been having issues trying to join each other's lobby for a bit now, we don't even make it as far as you - whoever tries to join the lobby gets a black screen for about 15 seconds and then gets booted back to the title. We've tried every 'fix' on the spectrum, I'm pretty sure this is not something a user can fix.

I have been experiencing the same issue when joining a friends multiplayer game too. When I've had this issue I've also been connected on Discord through a voice call which has shown the issue even more. When I've had the issue above and start the game, the voice connection starts to cut out until I reconnect to the internet or restart the computer. Don't know if you all have had this same issue.

Update on the issue: Still the only way to play is via Mobile Hotspot. Will update if i find something else for this.

I've been having this issue for weeks now and am yet to find a solution after trying many things like OP. Very occasionally I can spectate a game when joining from the server browser, but I haven't gotten further than that. It seems to be some sort of network issue but I haven't been using a VPN or anything.

Have the exact same issue as all of you, have gone through all the same steps as OP to try and fix it but it still does not work. Leaving a message in here in hopes of seeing a solution down the road, if anyone finds a solution please post it in here.

Same problem here, have tried every solution imaginable to no avail. Sad to see this going on for about 2 months now and nothing has been said about the issue. If anyone has a fix, please say so.

Update : Paid 3 times for new Mobile Network packages. Wasted all of them to play. Still no relevant solution.

Yes, it appears that if two players on the same local network try to connect to each other in a private game they can't join eachothers lobby. My current theory is that the game uses the public IP address to link the players together but in a network that does not allow NAT loopback they can't connect. I think the network code needs to be updated so that it determines if the player is on a local network with the other player and then uses that IP instead of the external IP of the network for those players.

Still having the same problem after almost another entire day tampering with my router and settings, even after the last patch a days ago. Hope this gets more attention soon
