Right Analog Stick not working with PS4 Controller
Everything other button works but the right analog stick refuses to aim so I'm stuck looking in one direction making the game unplayable, and only this game, not a single other game I own has this problem. I have tried numerous different solutions and none have worked.

- Using DS4Windows (recognizes input, FAILED)
- Rebinding inputs on steam (I can see it recognize input live, FAILED)
- Deleting XML code to hard reset controller binds via steam and RoR2 config files (FAILED)
- Reset computer (FAILED)
- Updated drivers (already up to date)
- played a different game (right analog stick works perfectly fine)
- played with and without mods (FAILED)
- verified game files and reinstalled (FAILED)
- reconnected controller before launching steam (FAILED)
- used a different controller (FAILED)
- tried mouse and keyboard (I hate this, I'm trying to play casually, not glued to a desk)

I have no idea why this is happening, or how to fix it, and not a single person on the Internet has given anything close to successful advice. Any help has either been "I've got that problem too" or "here's a solution (that doesn't work at all and wastes 20 minutes of your time)" or "ew controller player" or empty threads that nobody responded to for years. Does anyone have any genuine idea as to what is going on here and what I can do to fix this??

I plugged in my old PS3 controller to check and the camera works on my end, I only got a warning from Steam telling me the controller was not supported and that glyphs may not be accurate before the game launched.

2 things you might check that are not in your list:
- Make sure Steam is set to always recognize PS controllers in Steam / Settings / Controller - Playstation Controller Support [Enabled] (not "enabled in games w/o support" as this setting doesn't seem to enable PS support for RoR2 when I checked in the game propreties' tab)
- Try disabling the gyro input in the Steam Controller Configurator for RoR2 as it sometimes conflicts in games which doesn't use it.

I do have PlayStation Controller Support enabled and I'm pretty sure I have gyro input disabled but I'll double check later. I also completely reinstalled steam and RoR2 itself to no avail.

I'm having this same issue with 3 different controllers and its infuriating because I have tried to fix it so many times. I tried switch pro controller and 2 different xbox controllers and neither of them work. It still works for keyboard and mouse but I hate playing that way because I play on a laptop connected to a TV so its very inconvenient to switch to a different play setup.
